Intel India to get a new President

As per its corporate rotation practice and the end of term of rank Jones in
the office of Intel India President, Praveen Vishakantaiah would be taking over
the office by mid October this year.

Praveen Vishakantaiah is currently the Director of the digital enterprise
group in India and brings to his new assignment a valuable know-how in technical
innovation, product design, operations and site development. In his current
position, Praveen has been responsible for functional management of the server
microprocessor design, server chipset design and processor system validation
groups in India, as well as overall operations and leadership development. His
responsibilities also include site management of other DEG India groups, and he
has been actively involved in development of the broader Intel India site.

Before relocating to India in 2003, Praveen was part of the microprocessor
design team contributing to the development of Pentium II, Pentium III and
Pentium 4 microprocessors. In 1995 Praveen was one of the winners of the first
Intel Innovators award.

Frank Jones, Intel India's current president, will return to the U.S. for a
new assignment as he approaches the end of his expatriate term.
