What are the Smart tech-enabled products in your segment most in demand?
Vaibhav Kalra - Vikel Business corporation is a product distribution company and we sell and promote Canon make printers to our customers. The product ranges covered by us are the ones brought by small offices and home segments. So, the differentiator and key factor is the printer feature, aesthetics and ease of obtaining consumables. Wi fi printers continue to remain in steady demand for us.
What are the specific requirements of the hardware such as laptop configuration to support the latest Smart Techs?
Vaibhav Kalra - Any laptop with Bluetooth connectivity is good to go for wi fi printing machines. Wi fi printers are accessible over a wi fi network. wi fi normally uses a similar radio band to Bluetooth, but with more power.
Devices that connect over a wi fi network must be within about 100 meters of a central wireless access point, though with repeaters the range can be greatly extended.
How is your business doing since last 1 year in smart Tech enabled products?
Vaibhav Kalra - There was a surge in demand for wi fi enabled printers during the period of increased WFH culture; and it has remained steady since then. Till last financial year, we continued to face a challenge in meeting demand that especially came from WFH Set up requirement.
What are the challenges in your work and how do you resolve them
Vaibhav Kalra - A lot of development work got halted due to lock downs and subsequent component and final units shortage, newer technologies like voice print commands received a break. But a settled year will ensure that the works in progress could gain required attention.
