How is the MSME sector doing in terms of cloud adoption?

Yogesh - MSME is doing well in cloud adaption , I have seen 2 trends initially in first lockdown MSME jumped on cloud bandwagon choosing free 1 year offers from hyper scalers but with variable billing and final price to be paid they had to retrospect and once offices started again could not continue with cloud and on prem Infrastructure

Yogesh - There are many industry specific ERPs for Steel , hospitals , or subcontractors of large auto has ERP from their OEMs etc. The MSME jumped into cloud for hosting these ERP primarily then other apps like HRMS , CRMs etc

How has your cloud business done in last one year?

Yogesh - Cloud business has shown robust growth due to Pandemic, it is also seen that if MSME successfully adapts cloud for 1-2 apps, then more and more apps are migrated to cloud and there is a steady increase in annual billing to those customers.

Have you faced any challenges in your cloud business?

Yogesh - There are many challenges. As per IDC cloud business will show 30%+ YoY growth and market will reach to USD 25 Billions. There are many players setting up Cloud infra.

Billing rates are coming down dramatically as many CSPs have deep pockets from other businesses or from Foreign funding available at cheap cost.
