What was your revenue graph % in last 1 year?

BD Software grew more than 50% over the last year. In the first quarter this year too, we have kept the momentum going and have registered almost 40% growth over same time last year.

How much of it came from your primary distribution segment?

BD Software distributes 12 security solutions. But endpoint protection remains our top area. End point means Endpoint Security and DLP. Almost more than 85% business come from this segment.

Which geographical areas do you cater to? 

BD Software caters to the entire Indian market. We have our office in Mumbai, Kolkata, Delhi and Bangalore.

How many metro and non-metro locations do you cater to?

We cover more than 40 cities and towns including 4 metros. We have partners in more than 100 cities across India.

How many partners have you helped in supplying these products in non-metro locations?

Last year we did business with more than 835 partners across India.

What are the challenges you see in distributing your segment products? How do you resolve these challenges? 

Manpower, partner enablement and reach are the main challenges we have at present. As India is a vast country, many times to reach partners in Tier 3 and 4 cities becomes difficult as many times language changes and it is difficult to explain on the phone. Quality manpower in such regions are helpful, but difficult to recruit. To overcome this, we continue to recruit people in smaller towns and cities and thru their reference we try to bring in manpower or partners to work with us. After that we continue doing webinars, virtual training sessions and certifications to bring in awareness among our teams and the partners alike. I feel this is an on-going effort and should not be stopped.

Do you have an online profile? On how many platforms? 

Yes, we have an online presence. We have our website platforms www.bdsoft.in, www.bitdefender.in and www.ocrpdf.in. Apart from that we have profiles on LinkedIn, and Facebook as well.

Do you export abroad? To which regions? What is your revenue percentage coming from foreign countries?

No. we distribute only in India.
