Intex holds reseller meet in Vadodra

Initiating its western India channel development program for this financial
year, Intex Technologies held a business development meet for its Vadodra
channel partners in the city recently.

The event had more than 125 channel partners attending it, who belonged to
the business verticals of PC, consumer electronics and peripherals. Such product
and region-based meets, the company believes, will help in its channel
development program as they provide an opportunity to understand the needs of
channel force, share offerings through product displays, facilitate product
handling through trainings and augment expansion in tier-II and tier-III areas
by inclusion of new members.

Speaking on the occasion, Sudhir Kumar, Zonal Manager-West, Intex said,
"Baroda is the third most important region after Ahmedabad and Surat in Gujarat.
It is also one of the most demanding markets for us in western India. After
achieving a 50 percent sales revenue last fiscal, we look to a 100 percent
growth by moving further into areas like Anand, Bharauch, Panchmahal, Dahod and
Narmada. We already have three full-fledged service centers at Vadodra,
Ahmedabad and Surat catering to the service requirements of Gujarat region."
