Iomega launches Minimax HDD

Iomega Corporation launched the Iomega MiniMax Desktop Hard Drive, a Hi-Speed
Dual connectivity (USB 2.0 and Firewire) external device designed to compliment
the form factor of the Mac mini and boost its storage capacity by up to 250GB.

Despite its Mac mini styling the new HDD has been designed with flexibility
in mind. It has three USB and three Firewire ports can function as a complete
Mac hub. The design of the drive means that it is equally at home stacked with
the Mac mini or functioning independently as a desktop HDD for Mac or PC users.

The MiniMax HDD comes with Dantz Retrospect and Iomega Automatic Backup Pro
software for hassle-free backups and data recovery.It has many features like USB
2.0 high speed 3-port hub, FireWire 1394a 3-port repeater/hub .It is compatible
with Microsoft Windows 2000/XP Home or Professional; Macintosh G3 or greater
(blue and white G3 only), iMac or Mac mini computer with built-in USB connection
and Mac OS 10.2 or above.

The Iomega MiniMax External Hard Drive is now available in the
following capacities, 160GB 3.5 inch Mini max which is priced at Rs 9,250
and 250GB which is priced at Rs 11,250, these are street MRP will be given only
by the distributors once they import the stock.
