Iomega unveils entry-level NAS servers

Iomega has launched two new entry-level network attached storage (NAS)
servers. These are: NAS A205m and A305m servers, and are meant for SMBs. The NAS
A205m is a Windows-powered server offering 160 GB of usable capacity, RAID (1
disk mirroring capability), 10/100 Fast Ethernet, and Iomega Automatic Backup
client software. The server also incorporates Microsoft Management Console (MCC),
Terminal services and services like Distributed File System (DFS).

The Iomega NAS A305m server while maintains the core feature of the A205m, it
increases usable storage capabity to 240 GB and adds mid-range features like
RAID 5 (disk striping with parity) capability and a Gigabit Ethernet (GbE)
network connection.

The Iomega NAS A205m has a suggested retail price of Rs 75,000 and the A305m
has a suggested price of Rs 90,000.
