of  'iSimCity,' an executive briefing center and proof-of-concept (PoC) lab

simulating an entire city, reaching out to a broad subscriber base offering a

According to Atul Bhatnagar,
President and CEO, Ixia, "India as a market offers tremendous potential for
growth. We will actively support this growth by increasing our direct local
sales and R&D presence in order to address the needs of the customers. Ixia
will provide not only the highest level of technical expertise in the IP area,
but also the fastest support to our customers."

Currently IP service offerings
are at a nascent stage in India. The continued sophistication of customers will
lead to the increase in demand. Carriers are slowly but steadily moving towards
a complete IP platform, with which they can offer multiple services. Carriers
will need to test for user experience (QoS), which will drive the growth for IP
test equipment. Currently the growth of NEM R&D facilities in India and the
growth of the IP network in India offering such services as VoIP, IPTV will
determine Ixia's growth in the country.
