JCDA gets a new committee

The Jalandhar Computers Dealers Association (JCDA) held its annual election
on May 5, 2007 in the presence of 60 members. Rajiv Khanna, Rajiv Trehan and
Inder Mohan Bhasker were elected as President, VP and General Secretary
respectively without any opposition. Amit Sakhuja, Nirmal Singh and Ravinder
Bhumla were respectively elected as Joint Secretary, PRO and cashier.

Besides taking care of general issues of dealers, the newly elected members
will organize an IT expo in November. The association is also planning to
increase the number of its members and add small dealers who are yet not in the
list.

Talking about the issue of anti-piracy in the region, Rajiv Khanna said that
the association wants to develop Jalandhar as an anti-piracy city and would
discourage piracy in the region. The newly elected body said that the election
was done in a fair manner and all the members of JCDA are happy with the result.

"We would aim to be at par with the expectation of the members and would
execute our responsibilities well, keeping in consideration the interest of the
entire association," said Rajiv Trehan.

Inder Mohan Bhaskarindicated that the elected members would strengthen their
efforts to implement the commitments they make and work to provide solutions for
all member issues, is it big or small.
