Immediately after being elected, the new representatives showed respect to the outgoing representatives and took their suggestions about the well-functioning of the association and about how to take the association's good work forward. The older members of the association representatives gave many good suggestions about the future wellbeing of the association. The prominent among these were Daljeet Singh, Rajiv Khanna, Parminder Saini, Inder Mohan Bhaskar, Amarjit Singh Kumar, Rupesh Sharma and Punit Dhir.

Now the new representative body shall elect a 6-members executive committee which will help the newly elected representative body in its functioning.

This representative body functions for 2 years. In an entire year, it holds many events such as General Body Meet, special meeting with different companies, sports and family events, outstation events etc. From time to time, they also have to speak up for their rights in front of the government and the supplier companies and the entire association stands up with them on such occasions.

There are several other associations with which JCDA Jalandhar works together. These include PACT of Punjab, established in 1999, which began from Jalandhar itself. Another strong association FAIITA was also founded to protect the rights of the IT businesses across India. Punjab computer dealers had played a large role in the formation of FAIITA. Our united fights have given us success on many occasions.

The above note was circulated by Rajiv Khanna, Media Advisor, JCDA and FAIITA.
