Juniper Networks has appointed Isilica as its education partner, which is dedicated to train system integrators in the IP infrastructure space. The
Isilica authorized center is based in Hyderabad and the company hopes that this venture would help the communication industry get world-class technical
experts in the country.
Says Paul McNulty, Director, Consumer Services, Asia Pacific, Juniper Networks, “This move proves that we want to nurture and produce the best IP
talents in the country and the response which we are getting from system integrators are overwhelming.”
Isilica has already trained 14 system integrators with a couple from Sri Lanka and Singapore. It boasts that the
state-of-the-art training center is world-class and with such an outlet more and more certified engineers will
make inroads in the country.
Sriram Syamala, CEO, Isilica Networks says, “The route for opening this facility started in September 2003, and we took
almost nine months to develop the same. We now have two certified trainers who are Juniper
certified engineers. We already have more than triple digit registrations and I hope that this number is going to triple in next one month.” Isilica
is also planning to open another state-of-the-art facility in Mumbai by the end of September and more centers are expected to come up as
and when need arises.
The institute will offer courses on four categories--amateurs, specialists, professionals and experts--and those who are would
go for training would encounter 5-days hands on experience on handling IP infrastructure.
