Jupiter appointed Samsung distributor for FDDs

Jupiter International (JIL) has been awarded the exclusive distribution and
marketing rights of Samsung branded FDDs for India and area countries. According
to JIL MD, Alok Garodia, "The total FDD market is estimated to be over 1.2
million pieces. While the market is not growing, it is expected to remain above
one million pieces per year for the next three years."

JIL is an IT peripheral marketing and distribution company in India. In
December last year, the company set up a CDR manufacturing plant, which is now
in full commercial production. With these growth initiatives, he expects to
achieve a turnover of more than Rs 250 crore in 2005-06.
