K9 Technologies to tap Chinese market

Chennai-based K9 Technologies has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with China International Science and Technology Cooperation Center, an outfit of Zhuhai Municipal Government and Zhuhai Software Industry Association. This MoU envisages K9 Technologies to provide training on technical writing and outsourced documentation services.

According to K9 Technologies CEO and Director, SP Annamalai, "There is a tremendous scope and potential for K9 to provide the expertise, which is imperative for the growth of the Chinese companies." K9 Technologies, which started off in 2003, is engaged in training for technical writing and documentation services. It provides services to TCS, Hurix, Polaris, Satyam, L&T Infotech, Franklin Templeton and others.

The company had an order book of about Rs one crore during the year ended March 2004. It also plans to enter the Thailand market by the first quarter of 2005 and hopes to close the current financial year with a turnover of Rs two
crore.
