Karur dealers form IT association

Inspired during the Annual Summit of Confed-ITTA that was recently held in
Kodaikanal, channel partners in Karur, Tamil Nadu formed its own IT associa­tion
called Karur IT Association (KITA). The association has taken shape after a few
failed attempts over the past five years. Around 40 members have joined KITA and
dealers give full credit to the recent Confed-ITTA summit for inspiring them to
form their own association so quickly. The association will also be joining the
state chapter of Confed-ITTA shortly.

A Sadasivam, CEO, NB Tec has been elected as President of KITA and the other
office bearers of the association includes NJ Thirunavukkarasu, CEO, Novel
System as VP; V Balachandran, CEO, Apple Systems as Secretary; R Madusudanan,
CEO, Balaji Infotech as Joint Secretary and T Kanagaraj, CEO, Iknox Netsolutions
as Treasurer. Claiming that dealers had been attempting to form an association
over the past five years, V Balachandran, Secretary, KITA said that the new
associa­tion has given confidence to dealers to take decisions cons­idering the
unity factor and the support it has received from Confed.
