Kumar Bhargava as its new president for this year
The Kanpur Computer Dealers Association has unanimously elected Arun Kumar Bhargava as its new president for this year. This decision was taken during the association's annual general meeting, which was conducted recently.
“We do not have election at KCDA, this is just selection for me. Last Sunday, we had our annual general meeting where almost all the members present, unanimously selected me as their new president for this year,” informed Bhargava.
At present, KCDA has close to 110 members. However only 45 people turned up for the AGM. “Yes, the involvement of our members needs to be taken to the next level. So in the coming months we would be making sure that better involvement is there within our community,” he added.
In addition to this, the association is also going to focus its efforts towards addressing the issue of defaulters in and around the Kanpur region. “In the past we have seen a lot of issues when it comes to dealing with defaulters. Now we will try and focus on this issue in order to address it properly and make sure that we do not have such defaulters,” he explained.
The KCDA executive committee now includes Shailesh Joshi as VP, Sunil Bhargava as General Secretary, Abhinandan Samaddar as Treasurer and Sushil Gupta as Secretary.
