Kobian appoints Vintron as distributor

In a bid to increase its marketshare in northern and central India, Kobian has appointed Vinton as its distributor. Kobian hopes to gain more than 40% market share in these markets. 

"We took this decision because Vintron's strength in component business as well as its reach will complement the growth of Mercury products," says Sunil Sharma, MD, Kobian India.

According to the company, Vintron will distribute Mercury's casings, speakers and TV tuner cards.

Kobian aims to grow more than 30% in the current fiscal year. It plans be more aggressive in market through regular channel programs and other marketing activities.
