Lenovo launches ThinkCentre A61e

Lenovo has launched ThinkCentre A61e ultra small form factor desktop. It is
Lenovo's first product with EPEAT Gold status. Operated by the Green Electronics
Council, EPEAT ranks products on a variety of environmental attributes from
energy efficiency to materials use to recyclability.

ThinkCentre A61e uses up to 90 percent reusable/ recyclable materials as well
as 90 per cent recyclable packaging. It can also be powered by an optional solar
panel.

It runs on energy-efficient AMD Athlon 64 X2 dual core and AMD Sempron single
core processors, which help users save up to 50 per cent in energy costs
annually over previous models.

"Lenovo is committed to providing a range of eco-friendly,
energy-efficient technology choices, and the ThinkCentre A61e desktop is our
signature item," said Anil Philip, Executive Director, Transaction
Business, Lenovo India.

"With the ThinkCentre A61e, we have combined small size and consistently
quiet acoustics with a light weight, highly energy-efficient desktop that cuts
energy costs in significant ways to help organizations reduce their operational
expenses," he added.

The ThinkCentre A61e and A61 are available in the market through business
partners, starting at Rs 15,800.
