Lexmark appoints Savex Computers as its hardware distributor

Lexmark has appointed Savex Computers as its hardware distributor in India. Savex would broaden the market space for Lexmark's complete range of business, consumer and all-in-one printing solutions and accelerate the demand for Lexmark's products.

"With the completion of Lexmark India's first phase of infrastructure set-up, appointment of key personnel, announcement of our new inkjet product strategy and our upcoming programs in the laser printing space, it is now time to focus on developing relationships with key partners," said PG Kamath, GM, Lexmark International India Pvt Ltd.

"Savex's appointment reflects the fact that we are currently working with selected partners to achieve Lexmark India's twin objectives of strong regional focus and broad geographic representation. This year, we will sharpen our channel strategy to broaden our market reach, entrench the Lexmark brand and drive higher growth across the spectrum from large corporate enterprises and government departments to small businesses and home users," he added.
