Lexmark rolls out X73 MFD

Lexmark has launched the X73 all-in-one print centre, an MFD (multi-function
device) with scan and copy capabilities.

The Lexmark X73 all-in-one print center offers a maximum of 2400x1200 dpi
print resolution in black and color on all paper types. This device delivers a
seven picoliter color droplet size for smoother tones when printing photo
images. It is capable of offering prints at a speed of up to nine ppm in black
and five ppm in color.

The X73 features USB connectivity and Windows as well as Macinotsh
compatibility.

As far as its scan capabilities are concerned, Lexmark X73 features a flatbed
scanner with removable lid for flexibility. The unit offers up to 600x1200 dpi
optical resolution and 48-bit color scan depth. It also features up to 9600 dpi
enhanced resolution.

This all-in-one print center also delivers upto 99 copies from one original
and has a zoom range of 25 to 400 percent for reducing and enlarging images. It
has the facility of double-sided printing, booklet printing and poster-format
printing. It can copy at a speed of nine cpm in black and three cpm in color.

This MFD also ships with software that allows editing, storing, sending and
receiving documents via fax and e-mail. The scan-to-PC fax capability features
fully-functional black and color fax applications.

Among other features are ‘Accu-Feed’, a paper handling system, a
user-friendly graphics interface and ink-level indicators.

The Lexmark X73 comes with a one year return-to-base comprehensive warranty
and carries an estimated street price tag of Rs 13,257.
