LG brings super multi DVD re-writer to Indian market

LG Electronics India (LGEIL) launched what it claims is the world's only all format DVD Re-writer - Super Multi, as an addition to its Optical Storage Device segment. Priced at Rs 5,490, the company states that it will help DVD users overcome the biggest hurdle of non-compatibility of various formats. “This product is the true reflection of LG's constant endeavor to bring out products that truly addresses the end users need with a view to providing true value for money. LG's DVD super multi will go a long way in making DVD usage a memorable experience," stated R Manikandan, General Manager, Sales & Marketing, (IT Products), LGEIL.


The Super Multi DVD Re-writer can read and write DVD-R/-RW, DVD+R/+RW, DVD-RAM, CD-R and CD-RW formats. Other features include 16 X (max) read/write speed, 8X (max) re-write speed and a storage capacity of up to 4.7 GB of data, which is seven times more than a normal CD media.
