LG organizes training program for Ahmedabad dealers

LG Electronics India recently rolled out a training program in Ahmedabad for
the sales dealers. These dealers called sales-cum-service dealers (SSDs) were
provided training on service related issues and 10 new SSDs were appointed.

R Manikandan, Business Group Head-IT Division, LG said, "The trade
partner's commitment and focused approach has a critical role to play in making
LG a brand name to reckon with. Our objective is to impart training to them in
order to develop their skill-sets. We want our partners to sell value to the
customer and not just products."

He further said, "PC is a highly service-oriented product, where the
customer needs specialized service. By authorizing the sales dealers as service
dealers, the customers get the good service at a single point next door."

He opined, "It is time that partners expand their area of operations and
add value to their selling process. This sales and service dealership initiative
will not only help the partners keep their customers happy, but also help them
generate more revenue and thus enhance their profitability. The customer and the
partner, both being happy, it is a win-win situation to all in the value
chain."
