LG unveils 17" LCD monitor

LG Electronics India (LGEIL) introduced F engine technology Flatron LCD
L1730S monitor. The 17-inch LCD/TFT monitor with F engine technology is an
integrated digital high-quality picture system. It uses Digital Adaptive Fine
Image (DAFI) technology, which consists of two cutting-edge processes such as
Real Color Management (RCM) and Adaptive Color and Contrast Enhancer (ACE).
Flatron f Engine achieves high standards of performance through precise
application of LG Flatron's image signal processing know-how and through the
introduction of new technology to overcome the weaker points of LCD display
devices.

The LCD monitor is priced at Rs 21,500 - dealer price plus local tax and MRP
stands at Rs 27,000.
