Logitech gets a new Country Manager

Logitech Electronics India has appointed Moninder Jain as its country manager. This position was lying vacant after Rahul
Bindal left the company in June 2004. Moninder will manage Logitech's sales and marketing, including
new product launches, product distribution and customer satisfaction. He will be based out of Mumbai and will directly report to Gavin Wu, VP
Sales and Marketing, Logitech Asia Pacific.

Prior to joining Logitech, Moninder worked with Samsung India for five years in various roles in sales and marketing from
1999 to 2004, most recently as the country product head for Samsung IT - Value and Lifestyle Business. He
also spent three years in business development roles in Xerox India before his stint at Samsung. Moninder has over 10 years experience, post
his MBA - majority of it being with the topmost companies in the Indian IT and office
automation industry. 

Commenting on his appointment Gavin says, “We are overjoyed to welcome Moninder to the Logitech team and are
confident that with his presence we can drive a more aggressive growth strategy in India. His extensive
experience in sales, marketing and product management will be a great asset to taking forward Logitech's goals and objectives.” 

Meanwhile, Gavin informs that the company will soon be launching a series of Logitech branded speakers under the M-series,
specifically designed for Asia Pacific region. It will be launched first in China and then in India.
