Logitech launches WingMan for gamers

Logitech has launched the WingMan Cordless RumblePad for gaming enthusiasts. Like today's most advanced cordless
phones, the Logitech WingMan Cordless RumblePad incorporates 2.4GHz technology. A 50-hour battery life coupled
with 20-feet or more of range provides the ultimate cordless solution for gamers.

Included with WingMan Cordless RumblePad is a compact 2.4GHz receiver, which connects to the PC's USB port. While in
operation, the receiver and cordless gamepad are always "channel hopping," as they constantly check each other´s
channel to confirm that the connection is reliable and interference-free. Up to eight different gamepads can be used in the same room at
the same time, and when the gamepad is no longer being used, it goes into "sleep" mode to
save battery life. Sleep mode can be overridden by pressing any button.

Dual analog sticks and a precise 8-way D-pad provides directional control, while two small motors in the handles of the
gamepad vibrate independently to give simulated environmental effects. A dedicated "rumble" button turns
the vibration feature off when not used. A convenient throttle is included in the new design, as are 11 programmable buttons. A dedicated "mode"
button easily switches the functionality of the gamepad between sports and flight
simulation modes.

The WingMan Cordless RumblePad includes four AAA batteries, a one-year warranty and has an USB-only interface. The
product is priced at Rs 4999 and available at all genuine Logitech dealers.
