Work on Low Bandwidth

While using an online meeting tool from any device requires good bandwidth, those who are working in Tier-II or Tier-III cities or using smartphones to join a meeting expect not to face any clumsy experience.

GoToMeeting has a mobile version called a commuter mode. The commuter mode knows if the user is joining the meeting through a smartphone or a tablet with 4G/3G connectivity. Therefore, it automatically removes all of the non-essential applications running at the backend that might consume or choke the bandwidth. The tool only accepts the audio of a user and also turns off all the web cameras when users log into a meeting as privacy and security aspects are of paramount importance.

Furthermore, while using a PC or laptop on low bandwidth, the tool turns off the webcam in the background. Also, the users are alerted on the applications taking up system bandwidth resources. Users can further enhance the meeting experience with all the assistance assembled on GoToMeeting.
