Lybrate India’s first mobile healthcare communication and delivery platform, won the “Best Startup” award at the sixth edition of International Conference on Transforming Healthcare with IT for using technology innovatively to address the core problem of inaccessibility of doctors in India and making quality healthcare available to the people anytime, anywhere.

The award was presented by Minister of Health, Government of Karnataka, Shri U T Khader, who was the Chief Guest at the event, attended by distinguished dignitaries from India and abroad.

The conference, organized by Apollo Group Hospitals, focusses on various aspects of patient safety and technological interventions and advancements in the healthcare sector. The IT awards recognizes the indistinguishable work taken up by companies in healthcare space involving technology.

Lybrate clinched the title at the ceremony held late evening in Bangalore. The category had six finalists from across India.

“We are disrupting technology to make healthcare accessible to the billion plus population of India. Technology will play an essential role in changing the way healthcare is delivered in the country and we are innovating with it to script the future of Indian healthcare. It is a matter of pride for us to get our endeavor acknowledged at a platform like this.
