The global attack of Ransomware has crippled life over 150 countries. Reports of hacking are also pouring in from Indian offices and simultaneously IT companies are taking care of it.
Some Media reports are also claiming that Ministry of Home Affairs have ordered bank ATMs to remain close as a precaution before Ransomware attack.
However, Ministry Spokeperson claims he don't know about such an order, "I am not aware about any such order issued by the Home Ministry. If the Finance Ministry did so, I don't know."
The government has already activated a preparedness and response mechanism to prevent any major cyber attack.
In this context, Maharashtra Government has also collaborated with IT security solutions provider Quickheal to help people in this crisis.
