Maveric Systems secures ISO 27001

Maveric Systems announced securing the ISO 27001 certification, a revised and
enhanced version of the BS7799-2 standard. The ISO 27001 is internationally
recognized as a standard certification on information security and is essential
for companies with offshore delivery capabilities.

“Offshoring today is characterized by complexity and high levels of
information security. Being a leading player in the BFSI testing practice, it
was imperative for Maveric to benchmark our practices with global standards for
effective information security management,” said VN Mahesh, Director, Maveric
Systems. “This certification is one of our initiatives to significantly
scale-up our offshore testing offerings that will position us as a true global
player in the testing domain,” he added.

ISO 27001 certification signifies that a management system exists to
regularly monitor effectiveness of these controls and that there will be
periodic independent audits going forward to ensure effectiveness of controls
and supporting management system.
