Mediaman appoints distributors for ESET

Mumbai: The national distributor for ESET range of anti-virus soIutions, Mumbai-based Mediaman Infotech, has decided to increase the brand's market penetration. Mediaman will appointing sub-distributors across different states in the country.

The company has already appointed sub-distributors in the southern region including states like Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.

Elaborating on the road map for ESET, Dushyant Mehta, MD, Mediaman Infotech stated, “We are looking forward to appointing state-wise distributors to enhance the presence of ESET further. We will be tying up with partners that already have presence across a particular state and have a close relationship with their end-customers. We have already appointed partners for South and are in the process of appointing distributors for other regions now. We will appoint one distributor for each state.”

Mediaman will be strengthening the ESET Smart Security and ESET Nod 32 anti-virus range of products designed for SOHO and home-users. The company had announced it alliance with the vendor late last year, but has started its distribution strategy only recently. This is because the products were only made available in mass volumes to Mediaman in the past couple of months.

Mehta said that he did not want to have a widespread channel on standby till the products were readily available. "Now that we have the entire product range with us, we have also come up with marketing techniques like offering three licenses at the cost of one, to get more end-users to opt for ESET solutions," he added.
