Micromax Canvas Fire 3 launched

Micromax has expanded its Canvas series with the launch of Fire 3 smartphone. Priced at Rs 6,499. The dual-sim smartphone features a 4.5-inch (960x540p) HD IPS display with dual front firing speakers.

Canvas Fire 3 is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor and 1GB RAM. It operates on Android 4.4.2 (Kitkat) and comes with 8GB internal storage. Users who want more storage space can install microSD cards of up to 32GB. The budget smartphone sports a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and 2MP front camera.

Micromax Canvas Fire 3 packs 1,850mAh battery and comes preloaded with apps like Hike Messenger, Clean Master, Truecaller and others. Connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.

At this price, the latest Canvas Fire smartphone competes with Motorola's Moto E (2nd Gen) 3G and Xiaomi Redmi 2 at Rs 6,999. Connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
