Microsoft launches channel promotion offer on hardware purchase

Microsoft has announced 'Money in the Box', a promotion for its resellers across the country. The promotion will enable resellers to win instant cash
rewards on every Microsoft hardware product sold between July 15 and August 31, 2004. Each box of Microsoft Hardware will carry Instant Reward Coupons
(IRCs) of various denominations ranging from Rs 50 to Rs 50,000.

In addition, on earning reward coupons worth Rs 7,500 or more during this period, channel partners will be eligible to
participate in a draw where three lucky winners can win cash prizes of Rs. 25,000 each. 

The channel partners will also get one basic keyboard and one basic optical mouse free on purchasing 10 basic keyboards
and 10 optical mice absolutely free.

Commenting on the promotion, Microsoft India manager home and entertainment division Mohit Anand said, "Our channel partners represent our biggest asset
and it has always been our focus to keep the channel community energized and
excited at all times while retailing Microsoft products." 

"With 'Money in the Box', we bring to the channel community yet another unique offer to help them realize the tangible benefits
of partnering with Microsoft hardware," he added.
