Microsoft Corporation India has obtained exclusive distribution rights for Navision India, for Microsoft's two business management offerings, which are Business Solutions - Axapta and Microsoft Business Solutions - Navision. The two business applications will continue to be sold by the existing 50 strong partner network. As part of the transaction, Navision India and Microsoft will work together to ensure a smooth and seamless transition for customers and partners while maintaining support for products.
Microsoft India will be a single source of end-to-end solutions for small and mid-market customers. Existing Navision India partners would now be part Microsoft Partner Program and will have the opportunity to build competencies in specific areas and garner greater revenues as they sell Microsoft products and solutions.
Elaborating on the announcement, Microsoft Corporation India Chairman, Ravi Venkatesan said, "The announcement marks our entry in the business applications space and underlines our commitment for delivering business solutions to unleash the full business potential of small and mid-sized Indian organizations as well as divisions of large corporations."
Microsoft Axapta and Microsoft Navision are two Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) offerings from Microsoft Business Solutions. They enable companies to focus on their customers, eliminate inefficiencies and drive down costs through integrated business applications that connect people and organizations.
