In a move to enable channel partners to deliver focused IT solutions for SMBs, Microsoft Corporation India would conduct partner conventions in New Delhi,
Chennai, Mumbai and Kolkata. "Targeting the Microsoft partner community, the convention would provide an in-depth perspective on the Microsoft Business Solutions offerings. It will also showcase the strategic benefits that will be credited to partners," said Microsoft Corporation India Small and Medium Solutions and Partners Director, Rajeev
Mittal.
In the face of increasing pressure, it´s imperative that resellers and distributors move up the value chain to become IT consultants for end customers, instead of being mere hardware and software providers. "With the launch of Microsoft Partner Program, we are creating an opportunity for our reseller partners to deliver focused ERP and CRM solutions for SMB customers. It will thereby enable them to tap additional revenue opportunity and realize their full business potential."
Further, Rajeev said the focus of these multi-city conventions is to make the partners familiar with the Microsoft Business Solution portfolio. It will demonstrate how they can leverage these solutions to deliver greater customer value and build competitive advantage.
