Follow UsMicrotek unveiled its ScanMaker 9700XL, which has a resolution of 2400 x 1200 dpi and a dual-interface structure (USB and SCSI-II). Its CCD sensor allows 533% image enlargement, and can scan high-volume X-rays and images or films up to 17"x12".

The scanner’s Dmax 3.7 delivers accurate color, shadows and highlights sharp details of images. Its multiple sampling reduces the random image noise when scanning.
ScanMaker 9700XL supports network scanning in Windows, and includes Microtek´s ScanWizard Pro 6.1x and Scanner ICC Profiler software. The ScanWizard Pro comes with built-in Kodak Color Digital Science Color management software and Adobe PhotoShope. In addition, the ABBYY FineReader Sprint OCR software converts scanned text to normal text with 99% accuracy.
The scanner is priced at Rs 79,990.
