MicroWorld bundles eScan with Zoltrix modem

MicroWorld Technologies has entered into a strategic tie-up with Hong

Kong-based modem manufacturer Zoltrix International to bundle eScan anti-virus

software with their modems.

"The primary objective of MicroWorld was to create awareness in the

market that content security is a primary necessity for anyone accessing the

Internet. Zoltrix’s expertise is PC-to-PC communication and our strength is

making this communication secure," says Sunil Kriplani, GM, Micro-World

Technologies.

Zoltrix is known as a PC communication and multimedia specialist in the

computer industry since 1989. With the expansion of Internet during the past few

years, Zoltrix has become one of the leading analogue modem suppliers in the

world.

"With this association eScan antivirus software will also be known and

used worldwide in the right segments," says Sunil.

With this tie-up MicroWorld hopes to create visibility and greater reach in

the retail segment and also in the home user segment.
