MojoPac launched in India

RingCube's has introduced its MojoPac software, which can save entire
desktop applications on any USB device. The software takes 35mb of space and
enables users to download the entire desktop in any storage device be it USB
storage device, iPods or mobile phones with minimum storage capacity of 1GB. It
helps people to capture their personal desktop on any USB storage device and
transform any Windows PC into their own.

Elaborating on the MojoPac Software, Shan Appajodu, Founder & CEO,
RingCube said, “You have the option of downloading those applications of the
desktop which are frequently used. Once you plug in the device to any desktop or
laptop, you can toggle between the host computer and your own desktop
environment at an ease.” The best part is that the user can utilize whatever
hardware devices like scanner/ printers are attached to the host machine.

MojoPac product line comprises of MojoPac Freedom, MojoPac Deluxe and MojoPac
Enterprise Suite. Appajodu added, “MojoPac Freedom is available for free of
cost. The Deluxe and Enterprise suite are priced US$ 49 and US$ 149
respectively.”

When asked about why MojoPac is made available free, he said that mass
adoption by consumers will help those people who cannot afford to buy a PC on
their own and those who own a PC and want to work from different places like
Cyber Café, college library etc. “Once the product appeals the consumers it
would easily get introduced in the office environments, which would generate
revenues,” he felt.

MojoPac allows businesses to provide employees with a secure managed
workspace that can run on any Windows PC. With no direct competition in India,
the company is seeing India as their greatest market and an important region to
expand their business here. Appajodu is also looking at the possibility of
bundling the free MojoPac Freedom suite with the portable storage device
manufacturers in the days to come.
