Elaborating on the expansion plans, Deepak Jagtiani, National Sales Manager,
Molex India said, “This is the fastest growing region in India and has huge
potential for structure cabling. For us the opportunity is huge here and we are
fully prepared to tap the market.”

Molex had set-up direct operations in Kolkata about 18 months back and has
been growing at a steady rate since then. It has already increased its
operational base in Kolkata and recently appointed Comnet Resources as its
regional disti for West Bengal in order to further enhance its base within the
state.

For the forthcoming fiscal Molex is all set to grow its business beyond West
Bengal. “We are also now reaching out to a number of partners beyond Bengal and
are planning to expand our reach in Orissa and northeast, as these are the next
upcoming markets after West Bengal,” informed Sudipto Mitra, BDM-East, Molex.
“Similarly we are all set to capture the market of our neighborhood countries
like, Bangladesh and Bhutan in the next one year,” he added.
