Bank of Maharashtra makes money transfer easier

Bank of Maharashtra has signed a service agreement with TimesofMoney, cross-border remittance solutions provider, to offer customer-friendly remittance solutions to overseas Indians. This strategic partnership will enable NRIs to send money to their family and friends in India, seamlessly and securely. It will allow them to transfer money along with the benefits of dedicated customer service, competitive exchange rates and low transaction costs.

"This facility will help in increasing NRI customer base. He exhorted on the Branch Heads to mobilize Business, as it helps customer's convenience and profit to Bank as a fee based income," said P M Khan, GM, Mumbai City Zone, Bank of Maharashtra.

Avijit Nanda, CEO, TimesofMoney said "With India poised to receive approx. US$ 70 billion of remittances this year and continue being the highest remittance receiving country globally, we are very enthusiastic about offering our proprietary online remittance solutions to Bank of Maharashtra.
