Moxa launches Universal PCI Serial boards

Moxa
has announced its new line of Universal PCI multiport serial boards. These
Universal PCI serial boards include four product series: CP-132U series (2
RS-422/485 ports), CP-134U series (4 RS-422/485 ports), CP-104UL series (4
RS-232 ports), and CP-168U series (8 RS-232 ports). These products, which
feature a 64-byte FIFO driver that lowers the CPU loading, are capable of
working with both 3.3-volt and 5-volt PCI slots.

In addition to the usual Universal PCI interface features, these serial
boards feature embedded 16 KV ESD surge protection and optional 2 KV optical
isolation for RS-422/485. It also features MOXA ADDCTM (Automatic Data Direction
Control) for easy RS-485 programming.
