MPIO unveils world's smallest, lightest MP3/FM player

MPIO, a leading provider of innovative portable digital audio devices, has

unveiled the world's smallest and lightest necklace-style MP3 player, the MPIO

FL350 which comes complete with FM radio.

Measuring only 30 mm x 50 mm x 12.8mm (WHD) and weighing just 28g —

including the cap — the MPIO FL350 is a "must-have" item for

fashionable, technology-savvy consumers seeking a sleek, stylish MP3 player with

the additional fun of an FM tuner.

The MPIO FL350, which is the latest model in MPIO's extensive range of MP3

players, builds on the award-winning FL300 necklace-type MP3 player. Providing

all of the previous model's outstanding performance, the FL350 now packs

additional advanced features that no other necklace-style MP3 player has

provided before.

New, improved features include FM tuner, lyrics display, fast downloads on

USB 2.0 interface, customizable designs, among others.

The

MPIO FL350 is available in three capacities — 256MB, 512MB and 1GB — and

comes with a built-in rechargeable Lithium-Polymer battery. The player is easy

to recharge via a computer USB port, delivering up to 10 hours' playback time

after only one hour of recharging. The player also offers six-mode preset

equalisation, one user-defined equalisation setting and Philips Sound Effect,

famous for its deep bass and 3D sound effect.

The FL350 is available in Hong Kong from 8 April, 2005. The suggested retail

prices for the 256MB, 512MB and 1GB models are HK$1,280, HK$1,580 and HK$1,980

respectively.
