NA unveils network and security management solution 

Network Associates introduced Netasyst network analyzer, its network and security management solution from the Sniffer Technologies Division. It is targeted at the SMB segment and field service organizations. 

The solution provides businesses with a flexible solution to monitor, troubleshoot and secure their 10/100 LAN and 802.11a and 802.11b wireless networks. It addresses key business performance issues including immediate resolution problem, enhancement of existing security measures and improved network performance.

The Netasyst network analyzer, when combined with value-added software such as Netasyst Voice, enables SMBs to have immediate insight into their voice and video traffic. Netasyst Voice helps to ensure successful VoIP network rollouts while ensuring that network response times are not degraded. Another feature ‘Expert Analysis’ along with Netasyst Voice will alert IT managers about critical VoIP implementations, helping to analyze and resolve packet loss.
