National Panasonic ushers new handsets

National Panasonic India has launched its new range of mobile phones, X70, X66 and G51. The X70, a camera phone with a built-in flash, help shoot even
in low light conditions. It can click up to six images in 10 seconds to allow capture action as it happens. Other key features promised are a 4 MB
memory that can store up to 400 images and a 500-phonebook memory.

Apart from this a Bluetooth connectivity for true wire free talking, 200 SMS memory, desktop handsfree, polyphonic
ringtones, GPRS, MMS and IrDA Port, 2-level digital zoom and 4 built in games. Weighing 92 gms, the phone
assures a standby time of 70 to 250 hrs and a talk time up to 1.5 to 5 hrs.

The phone is priced at Rs 18,635. The X66 is a super mini camera phone with built in CMOS Camera with a 300
SMS storage capacity. It has a 2.2 MB shared storage space along with multimedia entertainment and information services
capabilities. Other features promised are 40 polyphonic ringtones, WAP 1.21 browser, 300
phonebook memory storing 2 telephone numbers and a e-mail id with an option of having an assigned photograph. It has a 65K color screen, 4 color
illumination, 5 JAVA games, wallpapers, desktop handsfree and sound recording for creating own ringtone. The model weighs 82 gms with a standby
time up to 230 hrs and a talk time up to 5 hrs. It is priced at Rs 14,750.

G51 is a pint sized mobile packed with features such as 4096K color display, 40-polyphonic
ringtones, 100 SMS memory, 250 phonebook memory storing 3 telephone numbers with an assigned called id, WAP 1.21, desktop handsfree
and a melody composer. Weighing 74 gms, the phone has a standby time of 80 to 200 hrs and a talk time of 2.5 to 6 hrs. It is priced at Rs 8,315.
