NCTA holds elections

Noida Computer Trader Association (NCTA) recently conducted its general body
elections for the year 2007-08. Pawan Waleacha, Director, PSPL and the former
President of the association was declared the unopposed winner for the same
post. Also, Neeraj of The Computer Park, retained his post of treasurer for the
new tenure.

SP Shukla of Zoom, who was earlier the joint secretary, was promoted as
secretary in the new elections. On the other hand, Ashish Pandey of Akshar
Computers and VN Mishra of Arms Peripherals were selected as the new VP and
joint secretary of NCTA respectively.

During the meeting, members expressed the desire to have an executive council
and thus also appointed six new executive council members.

As the newly appointed president of the association, Waleacha said, “Our
primary focus would be to increase the strength of the association. Currently,
the association has 28 members and the existing strength of the Noida IT channel
community is around 80. So we would like to unite the entire channel community
operating in this area under one umbrella.”
