Neoteric launches Umax Astra 4100 scanner

Neoteric Infomatique unveiled the Astra 4100 targeted at home users and SMEs.
Powered with 1200 x 2400 dpi optical actual resolution, it has a 6 seconds
preview. The scanner is compatible with any PC using Windows 98/98, Millennium
edition or an XP version.

The Astra 4100 requires a USB1.1 port which yields an easy connection to any
PC or laptop computer with plug-and-play ease. Featuring up to 19,200 x 19,200
dpi software resolution, it is capable of scanning an A4 page in a single sweep,
reproducing the contents of the page in 48-bit color and auto-cropping the image
to reduce file size. The scanner is instilled with software that helps configure
and edit any image in a simplified manner.
