Desi S Valli, Executive
Director and Chief Operating Officer, Net4 India commented, “We
have enabled a virtualization and cloud computing platform for our
partners to allow them to get the benefits of becoming and 'instant
service provider'. This helps the non-infrastructural players to
provide Web and application services instantaneously without
incurring any cost on capital equipments. It will also help them
focus on sales and marketing whereas Net4 will take the
responsibility of the network, systems, application, security and
support.”

Net4's partner program is
best suited for businesses and individuals looking to capitalise on
the immense Web services market opportunity. Valli is optimistic
about their India operations and said that the adoption of cloud has
been increasing in this part of the world. However, he said that in
India most of the users are the first-time users and they require a
bit of hand-holding during the initial stages. Talking about their
future plans Valli shared, “Virtual private server (VPS) has been
the best revenue generator for us and we can definitely bet on this
in the future as well. We also have online marketing plans and plan
to project Net4 as a 'yellow page' in the coming times.”
