Netezza's expansion into India follows the opening of offices in Sydney, Australia and Tokyo, Japan earlier this year. "Since opening our Asian operation early this year, our planned next step was to offer our products in the Indian market,” said Vinay Samuel, Sales Director of Netezza in the region.

Keysoft has developed an excellent reputation with its customers and its partners in the business intelligence segment. Vinay added that the company is looking forward to working together to bring innovative and cost effective data warehousing solutions to Indian organizations.

According to Sanjay M Datta, GM Sales, Keysoft Solutions, "The Netezza partnership is of strategic value to us. We provide enterprise-class business intelligence solutions to our customers, and Netezza will enable us to also address their data warehouse needs. Moreover, apart from
Netezza, there are few choices with a competitive price performance ratio in the terabyte-plus data warehouse space. This implies a large potential for the Netezza data warehouse appliance in the Indian banking, insurance, finance and telecommunications segments."
