Netgear Technologies India has strengthened its distribution network in India

by entering into a distribution agreement with Ingram Micro India as its

national distributor. Netgear will use Ingram Micro's extensive reseller network

to sell the full range of networking and security products across India. The tie

up is a step in maintaining Netgear's rapid growth in the market and to widen

the company's reach across the nation, particularly focusing on system

integrators (SI).

Kerman Rana, MD Central APAC, Netgear says, "This tie-up is in view of

expansion plans and new company focus on system integrators. This will also help

us to ramp up our sales to include more SI's in our fold as we intend to start a

SI recognition program. Adding further more, Atul Jain Country Manager, Netgear

India & SAARC commented "We need to expand geographical reach to B and

C class city systems integrators as well, for which Ingram Micro is the right

choice as it has good SI Channel reach in the country with its own

strengths."

K Jaishankar, MD of Ingram Micro India, said, "We are very pleased to

tie up with Netgear for distribution of their networking and security products

in India. Netgear is a respected vendor in this category and complements our

portfolio very well. Our channel partners across the country will see this as a

positive addition to Ingram portfolio which will enable them to effectively

address their customer requirements."
