Netgear organizes technical training

Netgear Technologies has organized a training program for SI channel
partners. The company has already completed its nationwide training program
covering all the metropolitan cities in the first phase. It is now undergoing
its second and third phase, covering 15 non-metro cities.

The full-day training programs consist of two sessions. Sanjay Kumar, Head-SMB
Product Line, Santa Clara Netgear, USA office has especially visited India to
address the pre-lunch sessions at five major cities viz Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai,
Bangalore and Kolkata. The post-lunch sessions focused on hand-on training to
impart the techniques of configuration to channel partners for their customers.

“Netgear Technologies is focusing on SMB worldwide. We will follow the same
focus for India as well. The objective is to update our channel partners on
Netgear Solutions on configuration of new products”, said Kumar.

Atul Jain, Country Manager-India and SAARC, Netgear said “This training
session will help the clients understand and utilize Netgear products
effectively and profitably.”

“The highlights of the training will be its focus on Netgear new products in
smart switches, managed switches, firewall, SSL VPN segment and their usage for
SMBs, besides few more newer technologies. The training also had sessions on the
application and configuration of various Netgear products like SSL VPN, smart
switches and 801.22N (draft) wireless products,” he added.
