Netgear plans nationwide SI training initiative

Netgear Tech­no­lo­gies, a worl­d­wide pro­vi­der of
tech­no­logically advanced, bra­n­ded networking products is organizing a 21
city training program for 1,000 SI channel partners all over India. The
nationwide training program kicked off in Mumbai (West) and Guwahati (East). The
half-day sessions were followed by hands-on training ses­sions to impart the
techni­ques of configuration to channel partner for their customers. Apart from
organizing these technical training programs in major metros such as Delhi,
Mum­bai, Kolkata and Chennai, Netgear will also educate channel partners in B
and C class cities.

“The objective is to equip our channel partners about Netgear solutions, on
con­figuration of firewall VPN router, switches, and wire­less,” explained
Yogesh Sharma, Country Manager - India and SAARC region, Netgear.

“The training focuses on wireless technology, swit­ching technology, firewall
VPN technology and their use through Netgear pro­ducts. The session will also
include training in the field of broadband products, storage solution, and
pro­cess of building wireless BOM,” added Sharma.

The training also inclu­des sessions on application and configuration of
vari­ous Netgear products like firewall VPN routers, Net­gear access points,
Netgear wireless routers Netgear fast and giga ethernet, L2/L3 switches.
