NIIT wants partners for school project

NIIT is looking for school service providers (SSP) for its NIIT@School
nationwide project. NIIT has successfully implemented turnkey projects in over
1,500 schools across Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, West Bengal, Maharashtra and Punjab.

To be a part of this project, the applications should meet the following
requirements: An initial investment of Rs 1.25 lakh, the ability to communicate
IT concept to schools, the skills to upgrade schools into "Smart
schools", to install sate-of-the-art hardware in these schools, and
establish contacts and leads in the education field.

NIIT will support SSPs with the drawing up of schedules, course material,
training of faculty members and provide all necessary input materials for
faculty members to handle classes.
